Privacy policy
What data this website handles, why, and what rights you have under the GDPR.
1. Who is responsible
Responsible for data processing on modernmoneymaking.xyz and api.modernmoneymaking.xyz (controller under Art. 4 (7) GDPR):
E-mail:
2. In short
- No user accounts and no newsletter. The only form is the optional competition sign-up (section 5).
- No cookies, no analytics or tracking tools, no advertising networks.
- Fonts and images are loaded from our own servers, not from third-party providers such as Google Fonts.
- Competition standings show Discord display names and trading results (see section 4).
3. Hosting and delivery (Cloudflare)
The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, and api.modernmoneymaking.xyz (the live competition data and the content of this website) is delivered through Cloudflare's network to our own server. When you open a page, your browser sends technical data: your IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser and operating system, and the referring page. Cloudflare processes these data to deliver the website and to protect it against attacks and abuse.
Provider: Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Data may be processed in the USA. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, for which the EU Commission has adopted an adequacy decision; in addition, Cloudflare's data processing addendum with the EU standard contractual clauses applies. Cloudflare keeps such log data only for a short time; details are in Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is a secure, reliable and fast website.
4. Competition standings and community content
Our competitions run in the Modern Money Making Discord. When you log trades with our Discord bot during a competition, the website shows your Discord display name, your result in R, your record (wins and losses) and your rank, live during the competition and afterwards in the past results. We publish them so participants and visitors can follow the competition, as described in the competition terms.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (taking part under the competition terms) and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (our interest in a transparent competition). You can ask us at any time to remove or anonymise your name in published results.
The analysts shown on the home page are shown with their name, photo and description at their own request (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR); they can withdraw this at any time.
5. Competition sign-up
When we announce an upcoming competition, you can sign up for it on this website. You enter the detail the announcement asks for (for example your account ID at a partner platform), the platform if there is a choice, and your Discord username. We store these details with the time of sign-up on our own server, in the list we use to manage participants and partner (VIP) members. Our Discord bot then looks up your username in the Modern Money Making Discord and stores your Discord user ID with the entry.
To protect the form against abuse, the address your request comes from is kept in our server's memory for at most one hour to limit the number of sign-ups; it is not stored with your entry.
Purpose: taking part in the competition and, where announced, checking your eligibility (for example a partner account) and handling prizes or partner benefits. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. We keep the entry as long as it is needed for the competition, its prizes or the related partner benefits, and delete it on request unless we must keep it by law.
6. Links to other services
This website links to Discord, Telegram, TradingView, X and partner offers. Nothing is sent to these services while you are on our website; only when you click a link do you go to their site, where their privacy policies apply. Partner links may be affiliate links: the partner can then see that you came from us and may set cookies on its own website.
7. Contact by e-mail
If you e-mail us, we use your address and message only to answer you and delete them when they are no longer needed, unless we must keep them by law. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, or Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your message is about taking part in a competition.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access your personal data (Art. 15 GDPR), to have it corrected (Art. 16) or deleted (Art. 17), to restrict its processing (Art. 18), to receive it in a portable format (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (Art. 21). Where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. To use these rights, e-mail us at the address above.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). In Austria this is the Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at. You can also complain to the authority in the EU country where you live.
9. Other
You are not obliged to provide personal data to visit this website. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling. We update this policy when the website or the law changes; the current version is always on this page.
